Senior Sales Account Manager - SEA

Salary:MYR15,000 - MYR16,000

Our client designs, develops and makes assembly equipment for the electronics and semiconductor manufacturing industry.

  • Identifies and develops new accounts, develops and supports existing accounts within the assigned territory. Primary target market in Semiconductor Advanced Packaging. Other markets to address include Surface Mount, Insertion Mount, Odd form assembly and automation.
  • Diagnoses customer needs today and future roadmap and works with Product Marketing and Application Team to develop solutions that demonstrate our Client's capability to meet those needs. Prepares customer proposals, quotes, presentations, RFQ's  and reports. Obtains Product Marketing and Engineering team's technical support to meet special customer requirements via RFQ process.                                                                                                 
  • Drives cross site key account penetration. Clear understanding of large account decision making process, sales process, and buying process. Organizes a concerted effort with other sales regions to drive multi sites decisions to win in a very competitive market.                                                                                                                          
  • Implements a clear strategy to execute against plan. Ability to differentiate competitive advantage and capitalize on it and/or neutralize short comings to increase winning rate.                                                                                                   
  • Delivers against assigned booking and sales forecasts
  • Gathers and reports industry, market and competitive data to the Product Marketing team.
  • Supports and organizes together with Product Marketing activities such as trade shows, private shows, demo, and seminars.
  • Guides, trains, and monitors regional channel partners to drive Surface Mount, Insertion Mount and Automation go to market plan and achieve monthly prospecting and pipeline goal.

  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial engineering with minimum 10-15 years of experience, of which at least 5-7 years international sales experience in semiconductor/electronics capital equipment sales.
  • Good understanding of capital equipment sales process from leads prospecting to order booking.
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor packaging technology, electronics assembly and automation.
  • Fundamental understanding of pick and place, die attach, flip chip, surface mount or insertion mount technology.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% in region.
  •  Excellent communicator and listener and ability to handle multi culture business and ethics background effectively.
  • Strong ability to influence multi function support discipline in driving global/regional efforts in large account penetration.
  • Excellent spoken and written English. Additional command of language is essential but not mandatory.
